Kansas City Barbecue Society Barbecue Rub



   400g   cups          sugar
   50g                  paprika
   2      teaspoons     Chili powder
   1/2    teaspoon      cayenne pepper
   1/2    cup           salt
   2      teaspoons     black pepper
   1      teaspoon      garlic powder

Combine all ingredients and store in a tightly-sealed jar in a cool dark place. Use as a rub for any barbecued meat.
